They train individuals to be speck-less and believe in customer friendly ways. There are 3 belts awarded in various levels of expertise. One is the Green Belt, which the trainee gets if he sits through a 64 hour long training session and passes an examination with 75% marks in the end.

In this level, he/she is expected to solve complex problems and analyze quality stuff. The next one, the Black Belt requires 128 hour training along with a test-pass certificate. In this level, the trainee is expected to solve highly complex material. The highest is the Master Black Belt which involves intense training and they are capable of training others for all the levels.

During these levels, the trainees are expected to learn more about the methodologies of Six Sigma and how the whole thing works. For example, during Black Belt training, they are taken through a period where they get to know more about the Design of Experiments, DOE. Six Sigma methodologies are not easy to learn.
